În loc de început/ Instead of Beginning

Am promis că o să ţin un jurnal al călătoriei mele în China. Să ţii un jurnal nu este un lucru uşor. Deşi lucruri noi te lovesc din toate părţile, tot e nevoie de un pic de inspiraţie şi, poate, un pic de timp. Cum o să încep cu cea de-a şasea mea zi în China, nu e greu de imaginat că cel puţin una dintre resursele mai sus menţionate mi-au lipsit în primele cinci. Sper, atât pentru mine cât şi pentru cititorul meu, că voi reduce la minimum absenţa din spaţiul virtual.

Blogul este bilingv. Nu se poate să nu fie în română, pentru că sunt român şi nu trebuie să uit să scriu româneşte. Adaug şi varianta în engleză pentru cei mai puţin norocoşi dintre noi. Totuşi, ţinând cont că te poţi pierde în traducere, cele două variante pot fi sensibil diferite. Cum engleza mea e “în lucru”, te rog, cititorule, fii răbdător şi trage-mă delicat de mânecă atunci când o maltratez.

I promised I will have a (b)log of my travel in China. Blogging is no piece of cake. You can have things poking your eyes and blowing your ears up but still need some inspiration and some time to put it to work. Since I will start with my sixth day in China, you can imagine that for the first five I lacked at least one of the two. For me and my reader’s sake, I hope that I will be able to broadcast every day.
My blog comes in two versions. I have to write in Romanian, for obvious reasons. I add the English version for those less lucky. Since it’s known that you can get lost in translation, the two versions can be quite different. My English is better than my Chinese, but for sure it needs some polishing. That’s why I will beg my reader’s pardon and ask for some delicate feedback in case I’m torturing Her Majesty’s tongue.
